Please see the below communication from Greg Irwin, Competitions Honorary Secretary. Please communicate to all relevant within you club.

Take care and stay in touch.

To: All Ulster Clubs Honorary Secretaries

Further to the IRFU’s announcement yesterday regarding the conclusion of the domestic season, the Ulster Competitions Management Committee (CMC) convened by teleconference earlier today.

In line with the IRFU announcement the CMC confirms that:
•         all Ulster adult male and female rugby competitions will end with immediate effect;
•         in those leagues which have not been completed there will be no promotion or relegation;
•         where the line-up of a domestic cup final has been confirmed and not played to date, both teams will share the trophy; and,
•         the top four teams in Ulster Rugby Championship One, as of today, will be eligible for next seasons AIL Junior Cup (this has been confirmed by the IRFU).
In confirming these outcomes the CMC is conscious that all clubs have worked hard throughout the season and this decision will be disappointing for some.  We are however in unprecedented times and our first duty is to the safety of players, volunteers and their families.
We will be in touch around arrangements for next season at the earliest opportunity.

Thanks

Greg Irwin
